Black Cow, originally sold by the Holloway Candy company in Chicago. This was one sucker no one dared to bite. It was hard. It would take two days to finish one off. Black Cow has been around, off and on, since about 1955. Holloway usually advertised all three mainstay products, including Slo-Poke and Milk Duds, in the same TV commercial or comic book ad. Most of Holloway's assets were bought by Nestle or another company around 1990.
