I have been searching for the Black Cows cousin, the "Purple Cow" that was sold in the 70's as well, right alongside the Black Cow. The Purple cow was a purple taffy like sucker on a stick. It was a wonderful grape flavor. I've NEVER EVER forgotten the purple cow. I used to save up my coins just to race down the the drug store in 74 and buy a handful of Jolly Ranchers (two for a penny!) and a big purple cow sucker. I loved that purple cow and I know that it existed!
