Comments left:	Birkenstocks were originally made in Germany, but they became so popular in the USA everyone were wearing them, they costed around 100 dollars at any shoe store that had them, now they are making knock off brands of the shoe. everyone in my hight school wore them the cheerleaders and the jocks and the smart kids, i even bought a pair for my 17th birthday, they costed me 101 dollars which isnt bad for a pair of shoes they were very comfortable to wear at anytime of the season. I still have the pair that i own but i rarely wear them anymore, but i would wear them occasionally since the weather is changing. they arent as popular as they used to be now, now its an on and off thing like any other pair of shoe.
