Comments left:	I am SO glad I found this thread, though it isn't Banana Flips I have looked for info. about for years and years. It is Dolly Madison's French Pastry - the vanilla cake with off-white frosting, a bit of coconut in it, and the most luscious filling I have ever tasted in any cake! I would love to know what that recipe is! I wrote to Dolly Madison, and one of their reps confirmed that the cake was one they sold. (A few years ago I was not even certain of the company that made it.) I wonder what it would take for them to start making French Pastries again - and Banana Flips, too! They need to know that there are a whole lot of dedicated customers out here who would buy masses of these cakes!!
