I'm glad to see I am not the only person who remembers the lovely Banana Dreamboats. My Mother wouldn't buy us kids this kind of stuff. She wanted us to eat apples and oranges. :) I would walk downtown a couple of times a week to get a Banana Dreamboat. They were so good! That was when I started loving spice cake in general. I am pretty sure they used an artifical banana flavor, but what ever it is was, it must have been a high quality flavoring because I didn't even like bananas much. I'm not sure what compelled me to try one in the first place.
