I used to get those cakes as a teen in the 70's...they were the absolute best snack /snackcakes ever, why they did away with the recipe in favor of twinkies, ding dongs etc., I will never understand, Banana Dreamboats tasted MUCH better ,what, with those moist tender spice cakes filled with that smooth creamy banana filling, once you had one, you were hooked and I'm not even a fan of banana flavor....SO,how do we petition the new owners to start baking this obviously popular vintage treat once again? OK so it may just be a snack item, but if you ever had one you'd know why it was so popular :P
