Back in the very early 80's on the evening news I started hearing about the "ayds crisis" well my grandmother had been eating AYDS for years so I was very concerned for her health. So I listened itently to the news of the epidemic, so I could warn her to toss the evil treats. Needless to say, I was slightly off base. Just an example of how foreign the term AIDS was to me at the time.
