Description
There's a store called Sugar Mountain in Ottawa that sells all kinds candy from the 70s & 80s, foreign ones too. Wig Wag is still available (they were sold out last time) but they're sold now as "Curly Wirlies"(??) and apparently are not braided anymore but more pretzel-like? Maybe they changed it because it was so messy to eat?? Mmmmm... delicious though!!

Curly Wurly is the British version, which apparently never went out of production there. A lot of the candy found at Sugar Mountain is readily available in the US. We have two Sugar Mountains here in Winnipeg, and I was amazed at how rediculously expensive they were selling stuff for, especially since I can just drive a couple of hours south and find no shortage of that kind of stuff. Sugar Mountain is a ripoff.
