It was a lollipop in the shape of a whistle that would actually work when you got tired of whistling you ate it. My favorite was red.

Grape, definitely grape
I do remember these. We got them at 7-eleven, Grape and Cherry.
My mom would get these for my sister and me and give them to us right before she took a nap after working the night shift. And then wondered why she would get woken up and have to scream at us to be quiet. I mean - sugar AND a musical instrument? LOL
These were good.Annoying as Hell,but good.
We had these in the 80s, did they come out in the 70s?
