Found a TV commercial for Burger Chef promoting the 1976 "King Kong" movie. Four different design glasses were available. You'd get one with purchase of a Super Chef (BIG burger, yes), large fries and large soft drink (if you ordered a medium drink, you had to pay an extra 60 cents to get a glass). This aired in January, 1977 over Chicago's WSNS. As the counter girl held up the soda cup, a mechanical gorilla hand grabs it.
