Description
Hey, this was like Country Tyme, but they advertised "you could use less mix to make more lemonade", and it came in a small can, and was Sugar free, from what i recall. I had it a few times aournd 74, then it disappeared. Also: Anyone recall a cereal from 1972: Had an Owl for the "mascot" for the ceral: Chocolate(oats) O's cereal. Was out from about mid-72 until maybe 73. I really liked it, but can Not recall what the name of it was! I think it was made by a major company(I lived near Chicago at the time, but I think it was a National Brand/ RTE Cereal). Anyone remember this cereal, or better yet, The Name, Please... I gotta know! One last item: Green Giant had a Toaster Sandwich thing out in 73 or so. They had no crust. It looked the size of a pop tart, but had something like mushed sloppy joe like mix in th ecenter. you'd toast it a few mintues(from freezer to toaster)...I like it, but I was a kid then. Also, I think this drink was from Chicago area" Poke-Ums", had a Native American woman who'd drink these things. they were like jucie in platic portable bags, and you took them from the refrigerator, and "poke-em" with a sharp straw, and drank them. Oh, for the person who mentioned Bottle Cap candy: I remember those! man, i forgot about that, and Freakies cereal that some others have mentioned! Hey, Remember Crispy Wheats& Raisins cereal( just think of Raisin Brand, slightly repackeaged by another company)... Anyone mention Cookie crisp cereals yet? I remember they came out by Summer of 1978.... Chocolate Chip and a Vanilla Crisp. Welch's Sparkling Grade Soda was a great drink in 75!
