I loved that gum. Once in awhile you will find here in Ohio labeled as freshin up gum.
MMMMM I was thinking of this earlier tonight. I loved the bubblegum flavor! I would put the whole pack in my mouth before beginning to chew. SQUIRT!
Does anyone remember another brand of liquid-filled gum in the 1970s that was similar to Freshen Up? It seems to me there were two kinds in the candy store but darned if I can remember the name of the other kind. By the way, I found Freshen Up gum for sale at the Cracker Barrel (country store/restaurant chain) near us. It made for a nice nostalgic chew!
Over 50 in Oklahoma and can pass for 30s....maybe it was the gum...lol I loved that gum. My favorite was the cinammon squirt. I was sad when they took it off the market. We put Botoxin in our wrinkles to look young....what is so wrong with a little preservation???? Ha fun memories.
