in France one of my kids was eating a strawberry 'chocolate' ice lolly and the smell took me back to Pink Panther bars. I landed here trying to find an image of them to put on facebook (unsuccessfully). Don't think they still make them, haven't seen them in years and comments on my facebook page indicate that anyone below about 30 has no memory of them. Shame.

YES!!! I loved that Pink Panther chocolate bar...it was my grandpa who bought it to pacify me so I would go to the kindy. It was always such a comfort food...mmm...how I missed the smell and taste...can someone, somewhere who knows about this to get the person or factory to produce it again??? Am so longing for it now...

i grew up in Ireland, late sixties, to mid seventies, and wast allowed much candy , but the local store sold pink panther chocolate bars and I loved them so much. It was my favorite candy along with a Irish coffee chocolate bars. I am watching the original Pink Panther movies with my young daughter and suddenly remembered those excellent PP choc bars and have been craving them.....why can't they still make something as good as that now! I can still remember that chocolate strawberry smell!

Lindor makes a white chocolate with strawberry bits. It is very close to the old pink panther bars.

Mmmmmmm...I too can still remember the taste of pink panther chocolate. I grew up in the 1960 and remember buying the chocolate from my local sweet shop in Rainham, Essex. Incidentaly, can anyone also remember the taste of the toffee found in the Jambory bags?. I can.

Go to your local Chinese supermarket, see if they import, or sell "Pocky" it is a strawberry flavour coated biscuit and it tastes like pink panther bars. its the closest I have ever found. It's made by Glico or thaiglico and they have a website.

I lived in Cork, Ireland in 1973 when I was 4. I remember very little, but for some reason, I can still taste this delicious candy. It didn't exist in the US when we returned. Really hope it comes back again some day!
