Description
Was around before the Seventies, but not after. I remember walking downtown to the local drug store and picking out a bag full of candy from behind the glass under the counter with my 25 cent allowance. With 30 or so things to choose from, the best were the red (cherry flavor) chewy coins.

I remember raking leaves or picking weeds for a chore and my dad giving me a quarter or two, going to the local store and picking out penny candies. Seemed like a whole lot of candy! Good old days!
