Description
This cereal came out in about 1974. There was a commercial that went: "You'll be nuts about Norman!". The cereal itself was a very sweet corny cereal, shaped similar to King Vitaman or Coco Puffs only larger, and it would remain crunchy in milk. Really good! Brings back fond memories.

Of all the cereals I consumed as a child, this is the only one that remember with a shiver of revulsion. 'Butter-flavored', I believe was advertised on the box. Pleh.

I'm not crazy!! I LOVED Norman cereal, but nobody but me remembered it. They all said that I imagined it...I started thinking that I did for a while!
For some bizarre reason, I actually saved an (empty) box of Norman cereal when I was a 13 year old..perhaps i thought I was going to start a collection of cereal boxes. That box is still somewhere in my parent's attic.

Loved this cereal as a kid but no one remembers it that I know. I'm glad someone else remembers it besides me. I wore out my norman shirt as a kid and had the norman stickers all over my bike! Great childhood memories.

When I was nine years old in 1975,it wasn't cool to like,or eat Norman Cereal. Either you were a fan of the Freakies,or you were considered a "Norman".
Oh how I loved Norman cereal. It was the best! Loved the stickers and had them plastered all over my bedroom door.
