Ever since I got 5 free bags off of cartoon network, when I was 10 About 11 years ago, my farts still to this day smell like Crunchy Nacho Cheetos. Which is why I think they discontinued them... Now every time I fart I wish I had a bag, they were so good!

Those were the best cheetos ever they should have gotten rid of those darn nasty puffs i sure miss those cheetos

They're still readily available in the Canadian province of Newfoundland. Not sure where they're manufactured, but I'm eating a bag right now. They're great. I've lived all over Canada, and I've only ever seen them in Newfoundland.

Well currently i've only gotten them in Newfoundland, but my brother just got back from Sydney Nova Scotia, and they sell them there too.

I used to eat them every day for lunch, for at least one year, while I was in high school. OK, so that wasn't my best choice for daily nutrition, but I WAS just a kid in those days. In Baltimore they were 35 cents a bag and I'd buy three of them from the store at the bottom of the hill from my school. Man, they were great! A number of years ago, I contacted Frito-Lay to ask about them. Initially, I was told that I was mistaken until, after some inquiries on their part, they put this older woman on the phone who remembered them- so I wasn't crazy! Maybe my taste buds have changed over the years, but I'd love to try them again some time.

Oh my goodness! I ate nacho cheese flavor Cheetos when I was a kid back in the 70s. I loved them and they were the best ever. I woke up this mrng. with this awsome craving for some Nacho Cheese flavored Cheetos. Glad to see I'm not the only person that remembers this flavor. After reading all the other comments, I too will deffintely email Frito Lay.

I also remember nacho cheese cheetos, they were the best. Don't know why they ever got rid of them, always thought they would make a come back. They have BBQ flavor out, not as good as the nacho cheese flavor, but not bad.

I done some research. It seems that in 1996 Frito Lay brought back the Nacho flavored Cheetos for about 2 years. They aren't manufacture here anymore and only a small part of Canada still has a plant that makes and distributes them. It's all about geographical location......there are almost 25+ varieties of Cheetos sold in the US. Depends on where you live on whether they got your favorite flavor though. One thing is for sure though.....NO nacho flavored Cheetos in the US and after that second trial run that only lasted about 2 years it's doubtful there will be a return of that flavor to US shelves. :(

I loved Nacho Cheese Cheetos, I tell ppl about them and am shocked to see all of these ppl who love them as well, FRITO LAY plz Plz manufacture them again. I use to eat them so much the tips of my fingers were orange, just like the bag. I use to eay them w/ a small carton of oak farm fruit punch back in the day. Oak farms juices aren't he same either. Everyone is right, those were the best tasting cheetos ever!!! The company had to be aware that those nacho cheese flavored cheetos sold like crazy! I can't begin to imagine why they just let them go away like that!!!! Please, everyone just write or call the company.

I did contact Frito lay to let know how I felt about the Orange bag of nacho cheese Cheetos which I mentioned on my post Sept 2010. I was just thinking again about the wonderful flavor of those Cheetos. I am on a diet now but If those Cheetos come back out, I would have to go off of my diet. Those Cheetos were addictive I would eat them every day. I remember when they did bring them back out for two years, back in the late 90's. I was so happy. Now I am sad that there gone again. They Actually tried to test market them in St. Louis back in 1998. I must admit they brought back childhood memories., the taste was just as i had recalled. I know my kids enjoyed them as much as i did. I just don't get why they did not relaunch them.

Hiya, reporting that nacho cheese cheetos are also available in Mexico a green bag with chester cheetah in it. So probably you can find them at stores that sell mexican groceries. Sabritas is the brand that is nothing else than the name frito lay has in latin america. I hope you find them.

I remember these being sold in the fall of 1978, and they weren't around for long, but omg they were deliious!You could scarf a whole bag in one sitting--they were that addictive! And they stained your fingertips this deep burnt-orange color. I think Frito-Lay brought them back sometime in the '90s, but they didn't taste the same at all. Please try again. They were actually better than Doritos!

As a kid in Michigan during the late 70's, I remember the Cheetos in the orange bag fondly. However, they were not called Nacho Cheese as I remember. They were called Zesty Cheese Cheetos.

I just ordered the Cheetos from the Mexican pantry link that was provided above and they are no where near the same flavor as nacho cheese flavored Cheetos. Wish I could find the real thing.

I've had random thoughts over the years about going into the corner store as a kid and asking for Cheetos "in the Orange bag". It was so long ago I couldn't remember what was different or if my memory was even real. So I googled Cheetos in Orange bag and came across this post! So that's what they were...Nacho cheese. I remember the nacho cheese cheetos. They were out in the late 70s and 80s in the orange bag. I loved them so much, that I was lucky to enjoy them again in the early to mid 90s. This is when frito-lay brought them back in those shiny aluminum bags. They came back very briefly in an aqua-blue shiny bag. I have called and written to frito-lay several times requesting their return, and all I received was an insulting .50 off coupon. You would think they would listen to the consumers a little more.

I LOVED these as a kid in the seventies and eighties and they disappeared. By the time I discovered as a twenty something that they were back at Target, I had a bag or two, the store's stock was outdated, and they never returned. I think of them every now and then and search, hoping beyond hope they are back. I used to see them painted on a Frito truck in the mid eighties (at my first part time job) as a constant reminder of them and to rub salt in the wounds that I couldn't have them anymore. I FINALLY got Shazam on DVD, Batman (1966-68 version) on DVD (Blu-ray in fact), Legends of the Super Heroes on DVD, Zotz candies, and Maple bun candies, so now I need Nacho Cheese Cheeto's (Come on Pepsico), some Red Lightning pop (come on Coca Cola), and some Dixie Drumsticks (come on, Nabisco). , original McDonald's filet of fish and McDonaldland Cookies, and I would be pretty set as far as childhood things. People got Surge soda brought back (even if only one time so far), so let's get the Nacho Cheese Cheetos back (the top or top two (Red Lightning soda) of my list above). Maybe they can and have it on Amazon if nothing else. Come on, Frito, it has been years since your last test market Bring them back and promote them.

I loved these Cheetos! I used to eat them in the late 70's early to mid 80's with a strawberry Crush soda or Welch's Grape soda. All I remember is they were in a Orange bag and had Zesty at the bottom! Soooo good!! Frito Lay has way too many "Flamin' hot" choices. Get rid of one of those and bring back the Zesty Nacho Cheese ones, they will sell like hot cakes! Please!

I forgot to describe the bag....it was the Old School light Orange bag with the stripes on both sides of the Cheetos logo. The middle section of the bag was clear cellophane; not solid like todays' style and at the bottom it said "zesty". Just thought I'd share that! ☺

I'm so glad someone else remember these chips. My cousin and I used to eat them in the 70's but she can't remember them. I was able to find them at only one gas station in the 90's and all of a sudden they were discontinued. They were the best!!!! Bring them back, I'm sure this new generation will love them as well!!!

I was born in 1972 and I remembered these nnacho flavored cheetos a free years back. I remember going to the corner store for family and friends to buy them and having them say not the red bag; get the ones in the orange bag. But when I asked them if they remembered, they told me no. I knew I wasn't wrong because I'm a chip fanatic. So glad I found this link. But it would be even better if I could get the cheers so I can prove to my family that there was such a thing.

I haven't found a Cheetos flavor that topped the flavor of the Zesty Nacho Cheese Cheetos. I don't understand why something so loved and wanted isn't on the shelves. BRING BACK THE ORIGIONAL ZESTY NACHO CHEESE CHEETOS. I really want my kids to experience what I've talked about all their lives.

I to am a Big Fan of Nacho Cheetos. Anybody looking to get a taste of that flavor, here's what I do. I get a big bag of Cheetos and a big bag of Nacho Doritos and mix them in a big freezer bag. Then grab one of each and eat them together and it taste just like Nacho Cheetos,enjoy and let me know what you think.

I found some Nacho cheese cheetos on EBay. The bag is green, not the orange bag as I remember. They are nacho cheese flavored, $3.00 a bag with free shipping. I simply put nacho cheese cheetos in the search box and found these.I ordered 5 bags, the minimum is 4 bags per purchase. I'll follow up after I recieve them to let you guys know if its the real deal.

In 1984 - 85 I went to trade school at 5 hours 5 nights a week for 14 months after working 8 hour days. Almost every night after school I had a 30 minute drive home and made one stop for a drink and a big bag on Nacho Cheetos. It was my reward for each 15 hour day. I was so disappointed when they disappeared from the snack shelves. I want them back. I’m 75 but I remember their great taste.
