Description
"What is it? It's Munchos!" I still remember that line from the television commercial way back when Frito Lay introduced them in 1971. (Thanks to the Frito Lay website for the year.) I found a bag of Munchos (actually 5 bags) at a truckstop in Dunnigan, CA, and bought 'em all. Does anyone know what year Munchos came back (if they were ever discontinued?)

Munchos were a type of potato chip, but they were much different than any other potato chip on the market. They were less greasy, and thicker, and I think they were baked a little more thoroughly. Also they had massive amounts of salt on them. They were awesome, but you needed lots of water on hand, even when eating a small bag.
