Description
I remember something called "Moon Dust" from the 70's. It was a flavored sugar that came in a few different flavors that you sprinkled on things. I remember the raspberry flavor. I think it came in plastic slurpee cup containers with a flat lid. I remember putting it on my pancakes. The commercial had something like "My my mooooooon dust...moooooon dust." Someone is calling it "Space Dust" up top, but it was called "Moon Dust", because of the commercial. "Space Dust" was the pop rocks type stuff.

I never got to try it, but I do remember the commercials. They first had a spoken commercial (and not a very well done one at that), then came the country-themed one with (what I always interpreted as) "Mama, Moon Dust, Mama, Moon Dust, Mama, Moon Dust, America's favorite topping."
