I am from Kansas City, and we had those growing up. I can't remember what company produced them. They were so tasty!!

Mickey's Donuts have been sold routinely in the Minneapolis/St Paul area for years. I haven't had any for a while, but I would bet they're still around. My favorite donut as a kid was a plain cake donut and Mickey's plain cake donuts just send me back to my childhood in a flash - flavor, texture, "feel". The danger is I could eat half a dozen or more in one sitting if I wasn't careful. They are VERY tasty!
