I loved this candy bar.......but i think i loved the marathon man more!!! The tall, good looking man with the dazzling smile I believe is Patrick Wayne, son of the late, great MAN himself John Wayne.

an open-braided twist of chocolate covered caramel in a long red paper wrapper if memory serves; commercials always had a cowboy dressed in white....who was going to save the damsel is distress AFTER he finished his Marathon candy bar..."it lasts a good long time"

There is a similar candy bar out there..called "curly wurly" by cadbury.
I didn't think that it would be as
good as a marathon, but it really was.
I just missed the wrapper with the ruler
on the back!
