Description
These were regular size hamburgers sold at Krystal. They had all the regular hamburger toppings plus a slice of ham. They were really sloppy burgers that were very tasty. They also had burger plus at Krystal.

Worked @ Krystal from about 95-98 & enjoyed the Big K and the (big)chicken sandwich. Wished they'd bring 'em back, I ate the Chicken sandwich & chili-cheese kyross fries almost every night yum(another one to bring back those tasty kyross fries like Chick-Fil-A which I work for now only better).
Loved the Big K
The Krystal chain of full-service hamburger parlors began in Atlanta in 1922, moving its headquarters to Chattanooga in 1932. Krystal's restaurants were primarily in the southeast U.S., and for awhile, rivaled White Castle as being one of the oldest burger chains. Unfortunately, the company folded in 1986.

Krystal’s did not fold. It is still around, though unfortunately it’s not in eastern North Carolina.
