Description
It was a doughnut filled with raspberry filling. The doughnut was powdered and was plain. I use to buy them as a child at a Hostess/Friefoffer's Outlet in Keene NH from 1975 to 1976 ( it may have been a "Thrift Store")

I loved these as a kid. I would beg my mom to get 2 boxes so I could have a whole one for myself. I usually ate the whole thing in the car. They actually were back obn the market as late as 1985 for a very short time.

I still think about these delicious donuts till this day. I was sooooo desperate for some of the these raspberry wonders I found some in California and had them shipped all the way to Ohio. I wish Hostess would bring them back to the east coast. I truly miss them.

I recently bought a 12 pack box of these. I thought that they were plain sugared donuts and when I bit into it Raspberry jelly came out. I was expecting a normal donut, so it was a little strange cause that was not what my mouth was expecting. I live in AZ, and bought them in late 2007 or around that time from a grocery store. They were kind of dry, not very moist cake.

Purchased many boxes of those wonderful rasberry filled donuts back in 1984 in St.Johns,AZ. --- I just spoke to a Hostess Corp. Rep. I practically begged the rep to consider producing the wonder donuts all over the USA in 2010. -- The rep forwarded my request via text to Consumer Affairs. PLEASE BRING BACK THEM DELICOUS HOSTESS O's

I have been looking for them too. I just read someone's comment to Hostess on Facebook that she could not find them in California. The Hostess rep said they did not send them to California anymore. BOOOOOOO HOOOOO! There is a company that claims to mail order them but their website is not working. Chocodiles website....they have lots of older fun items. I wish you all luck!!

Ok....the website for ordering the donuts is: www.freshchocodiles.com/hostess/reapberry-filled-donuts.html. Also, FRANZ bakery in Seattle makes a raspberry filled powder sugar donut, but I cannot find a place that does mail orders.
