Description
These were the fruity version of the chocolate/caramel milk dud. They came in Grape and Cherry flavors, and I think there might have even been an Apple Dud too.

There were Cherry and Grape Duds (loved 'em) but no Apple Duds. The third one was Banana Duds (didn't love 'em).
Cherry Duds were the BEST!!
I have never tasted anything like them ever again....they had a certain taste/texture that will never be duplicated....wow I miss them so much!!
i remember grape and ORANGE milk duds...not cherry or banana...of course no one believes me about any of it...
Loved Cherry and Grape Milk Duds. Wish they would have never went away as they were the best. My friends swore they never existed and said I must be crazy but I knew they did.
Finally...no one I know ever remembers flavored milk duds - I loved the grape and cherry as well as the banana duds!

My grandfather worked for Holloway Candy. He would come home with scads of candy: Milk Duds, Slo Pokes, Black Cows. My favorite was Banana Milk Duds, my brother's was Cherry. We split the Grape. Don't remember any Strawberry or Orange, though.
Loved the Grape Milk Duds! I, too, wish they had never gone away! I still crave them at times.
I remember getting grape mild duds at the drive in movies, but no one has believed me. I loved them, but never have seen them since. It has crossed my mind several times over the years to look it up, and I finally did today, interesting to know there were other flavors.

I cant believe this, lol I just had a craving for grape or banana milk duds- And I don't even like grape but, I asked my pal if he remembered them, and he said no. I went online and I havent found any yet but if they are out there please e-mail me at paintercat2012@yahoo God Bless
I loved Banana Duds more than Cherry or Grape, but Cherry Duds were a close second. I was allergic to chocolate, so I didn't have Milk Duds until I outgrew my allergies.
I remember the different flavours of duds. Banana was my favourite. I was just telling my girlfriend about them and now she wants some. I told her that I don't know where they may be found now. If anyone knows, please post.
I have been searching for years for proof that I wasnt crazy..there was a cherry dud! I was young but I can still remember how great they were and look for something that comes close but nothing does. They will always be my favorite.
In the mid 1970's, I worked the concession stand at a movie theater. My little boy would sit behind the counter and he absolutly loved the flavored Milk Duds. The 3 flavors were Cherry, Bananna and Grape. To this day he talks about how good they were and wishes they would make them again. And he is 41 now.
There DEFINATELY were flavored milk duds. Banana reigned supreme (to me anyway,lol). These days I have to settle for Banana "LAFFY TAFFY" :(
I remember the flavored milk duds..cherry,grape and banana. We used to sell them at lunch time at school to make extra money for our sixth grade class and this was in the 70's
Whenever I feel like eating candy, grape/cherry duds are what I want. Sad that they aren't made anymore, they were the best!
I always liked grape flavored candy, so the only one I personally remember is Grape Duds. I don't recall them ever being common; it would be interesting to know how long they were around, to see what small section of history we are all remembering. Google Images turns up pics of Grape & Strawberry duds made by Holloway. We demand our duds! Somebody go back in time and stock up on these things, you can name your price.
Ha ha! I'm not crazy! For years I've been remembering getting Cherry Milk Duds while trick or treating as a kid. I loved them! Like other folks say, just nothing like 'em (closest thing is chocolate covered dried cherries). Wish they'd bring them back!
i remember grape ,banana cheery but not apple,weren't available in canada had them in the early 70's in florida grape were my favourite also remember wacky wafers
