Description
These were very fresh potato chips that were delivered to your door or to your work place. They came in large (like the way flavored holiday popcorn is sold now) yellow and brown tin cans with a resealable tin lid. My Mom used to get them delivered to her office at work in Northeast Ohio. When there used to be a milkman who came to your house, he could also offer them. I think that was in the 60's though. Charles Chips also came out with pretzels in the same large tin. These were super fresh and yummy too. I think the company is still in business, but the chips no longer come in the tins.

I knew one of your drivers from years ago a Clayton Floyd. They were the best Chips around. I just recently saw two of your cans for sale.

Where can I purchased these wonderful chips? I live in Michigan. Or is there a place on the Internet that I can order them?

I loved the brown and yellow tin cans that the Chareles Chips came in. Never knew they were delivered...just remember eating them! My brother just came from SC to MI to visit and we were reminiscing about those great chips...going to try and see if they're still being made.

Sorry Lynn. They are not still being made. I've spent a long time searching for them. I remember just like Rick, the truck coming on Friday after school. Wow, so long ago.

Dorothy, it's me, your old driver, Clayton Floyd. I have to admit I always had a big crush on you! Maybe we could get together and eat some chips or something. Let me know...
