Description
Big Pucker was a round pink disk shaped candy with a funny face on it.They were about the size of a softball, only flat.I think they came in either a purple or pink wrapper with a face on it.Googly eyes and a crooked mouth. This was one of my favorites that has diappeared. Also the pink and white jelly nougurts. They were soft nogurt with pieces of jels in them They now have white ones, but are not the same.

I loved Big Puckers! They also had bags of smaller wafers of about the size of a dime, which were called "Little Puckers." I used to eat this type of candy all the time. There was one which was small and square-shaped and came in a square "rolls" that were about 6 inches long. The wrapping was a bright yellow with poka-dots. The candy itself had pokadots too. They resembled PEZ a little I think. What were those called?? I seem to remember them as being called "Charlies"????? no clue. anyone?

Finally found a community who knows what i'm talking about. The ice cream man use to have the big Puckers and I would get that instead of ice cream. What ever happened to these???? I was probably 7-9 years old.

I too used to buy Big Puckers at Wool-worth's downtown. I loved them. I used to eat them on the bus on the way home. Sometimes they were really hard & crunchy, other times they were soft 7 powdery. But they were the greatest when I was 12. If anybody knows about where to get them, please post it here!

I remember these and found this page by searching for them, I ate these a lot when I was young, can remember them disappearing, then a couple years later going camping and the campground candy shop had them, I bought the box. Wish I could remember what they were like as they were definitely my favorite.

Just bought one on eBay this week. If anyone has questions on them let me know, I have one in my hand. Bought it for my wife who used to buy them from the ice cream man all the time as a kid.

Big Pucker was made by Fleer around 1976. Slogan was "Sweet Candy With Sour Power." Fleer was acquired by Tootsie Roll 15 years ago, and except for Dubble Bubble gum and Razzles, other former Fleer products were dropped.
