I remember my sister and I giggling over saying Bat Juice over and over again. She was 8 years older than me and would sneak out and walk to the convenience store to buy Bat Juice for us. Our parents strictly forbade junk food.

It was made from real bats. They put dead bats in a giant juice squeezer and crushed out all the liquid. Then they cooked it or something, and made it fizzy. It was made from REEEAAALLL BAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTSSSS!

Bat Juice soda was a regional product made in Tacoma, Washington by the Silver Springs Beverage Co. Sold in 10oz non-returnable bottles. 1973-76 was estimated production dateline. This came out years after the "Batman" TV cult craze. Distributed mainly in Oregon, Idaho and Washington State.
