I remember it and I've been looking for a picture of it. Cake a day!

10:30 was the BEST candy bar ever made. The way I remember it, the 10:30 bar was very mild cinammon flavored wafers coated in white chocolate with pink stripes. it may have had some crisped rice in the chocolate because I remember the surface was kind of irregular, not smooth like a Kit Kat. Since the demise of the 10:30 candy bar, I have never tasted any candy even half as good.

I can't believe that other people besides myself remember the 10:30 CANDY BAR as the best candy bar ever. Who made it and why can't they do it again?

The last time I had this Bar in my hand was during spring/summer of 1975 one of my first memories,I was only four years old at the time. My mother use to buy them at the old general store in town. What I fondly remember was it came in a clear wrapper not sure if this came with a blue strip as well as for I was so young. Iam so glad Iam not the only one who remembers it.I wish I could experience that sweet cinnimon taste once again.

Eloisa - April 16, 2010 - Report this comment
It sure was very tasty and delicious, it was the best candy bar I had ever tasted, but why did they discontinue making them, I had the time of my life back in those days enjoying this candy in 1975.

I agree with everyone. It was the best candy bar I ever had. And all of a sudden they were gone as if never existed. Does anyone know where it can be found or who made them. Maybe if the company who made them gets enough reponse, they'll bring it back. If the company still exists.

I used to get the 10:30 Bar at Dale's Jr. Market in Van Nuys, CA. It was delicious and I don't remember finding it in any other city since I left there in 1977.

Nobody has heard of the ten thirty candy bar. I too, thought I was going crazy. It melts in your mouth. The sweet combination of white chocolate and cinnamon with wafer-like insides just creates the perfect candy bar. Thank you all for putting my mind to ease. Does anyone know if they still make the ten-thirty candy bar? If so, I'll buy a box.

I am so happy to know that my sisters and I are not the only ones who loved the 10: 30 bar! It was the best candy bar ever! I bought them from the Superette and "The Shomo's" store on Springfield Blvd and 111th Rd in Queens Village NY in 1975! I would love to see them back again.

I've been trying to remember the name of a candy bar that I enjoyed in the 1970s. It sounds like this bar, but I thought it had the name Danish-something. Maybe it was FROM Denmark? Sheesh! It's like I dreamed the whole thing! I can't remember much of anything else! :-(

Oh my goodness!!! We need to start the "10:30 Candy Bar Club!" It would be an elite group of 'old-schoolers' who remember the sweet, soft and slightly crunchy candy bar that has ever been made. Then some company may be inclined to begin making it once again, making us the happiest club that was ever formed!! WishfulThinking.com

I totally agree with everyone here. The 10:30 bar was the BEST candy I have ever tasted. I have search high and low for them and nothing. Now I know they don't make them anymore :-(. No one I know remembers that candy. Those were the candy days. heeheehee.

I used to get 10:30 bars at a place called Marlows's in main street in manchester ct in the seventies. They had a cookie nougat center dipped in white chocolate, drizzled with a cinnamon-y flavored striped glaze. They were very sweet, sugary and delicious!

I remember it well loved it. I was just in disney world 11/2015 my son made a mickey head rice crispy treat covered in white covered chocolate and cinnamon. Lightly drizzed with milk chocolate. It tasted just like the 10:30 candy bar. OMG. If you are down there in Florida go to Downntown disney and try it !!!!!

I still love the 10:30. I said it in 2008 and I'm saying it now. Right up there with Sky Bar and Zero Bar!!!!
Guy Woodhouse - May 16, 2016 - Report this comment
Matt Sullivan is insane. The 10:30 bar doesn't come close to the Sky Bar or the Zero Bar. That's like wanting Pringles with Welch's Grape Soda or Zarex !!!
Roman Castevet - May 16, 2016 - Report this comment
False! It's just as good! That's when candy bars were unique. Late 60's to mid 70's. 10 :30 , Sky Bar , Zero Bar. Now everything is the same. Too many candy smash ups and variables. Too many M & M choices!!! Bring back the older candy bars!!!

I used to get the 10 thirty bar out of a candy machine in my dorm at UConn. Don't remember the exact year but I was in that dorm from fall '76 to spring '79. I could never remember the name of it later but this is definitely it. They were wonderful! Wish they still made them...

In 4th and 5th grade (1974-1975)there used to be a 1 cent candy store 2 1/2 blocks from our school. Me and some friends would head there right before school and spend our lunch money loading up on candy to have and share during school hours. This is when I first discovered the most AMAZING candy bar EVER!!! My friends thought I was nuts spending the majority of my lunch money getting one instead of the full bag of 1 cent candy. I relished every single bite and it (to me) was worth even more then it actually cost. I am betting I would hate it now with my more "Adult" pallet but who knows, maybe I would still love them... Guess I'll nver have the chance to find out as it was discontinued over 40 years ago!!! :(

OMG! My son was talking about the Mandela effect and explaining, that it's a memory that never really exist! I started talking about my memory of the 10:30 candy bar and he pulled up this link for me! I feel so validated! I want to say that it was made by Mars, but I'm not positive on that. I would love to see them bring it back! No one in Cincinnati ever heard of it! I was in Brooklyn, New York when they were around!
Edward Hutchins - August 07, 2017 - Report this comment
As I was reading this thread, I noticed that whenever anyone specified WHERE they had purchased 10:30 bars, it was in the northeast, specifically in NYC or CT. (I used to get them in CT.) Is it possible that this was a regional thing? I'd be interested to hear if anyone remembers buying one outside of the northeast.
Michael Angelone - August 10, 2017 - Report this comment
Edward Hutchins, this might have been a regional thing, because I only remember buying them in Brooklyn, NY. You said you got them in CT, so they obviously were sold there, as well. I don't recall hearing about them sold anywhere else, but it's possible they might have been sold in other parts of the United States. It's sad they stopped making them. It seems to always be the case with great products, doesn't it?!

I was just talking to a friend about this bar a while ago, he remembered it to. I used to buy them at a little mom and pop store in Minneapolis, they were about $.15 I think. They were excellent. That store also had about 30 different kinds of penny candy. Also a thing of the past - good old days

One more thing I remember about the candy bar is it came in a clear plastic wrapper so you could see the bar, it had little red lines on it, we used to say the candy bar had veins.

We need to submit to every candy company. The recipe is somewhere! With all the nestalgia, some one somewhere should want to make a buck. I'd buy a couple boxes!

I got my driver's license when I was 15 in 1975 (Louisiana) and I would stop at a little store called Lane's on the Ouachita River every morning on my way to school to buy a 10:30 bar. I loved them! I'm a chocolate fiend, but these things were addictive and the only chocolate was white chocolate, which isn't real chocolate. I would love to have one right now!

The 1030 bar had a rival, called the Cinnamon Danish Bar. I believe at least one commenter brought it up here. Both were sold at a drugstore on my walk home every Saturday morning after turning in my paper route money. I loved them both as they were nearly identical however if I recall the 1030 was slightly larger so I preferred it lol. I've been obsessed with this candy bar on and off ever since.

Buffalo NY, 1970s. The 10:30 candy bar is a memory indelibly ingrained in my mind. My mother kept them in abundance. Clear rapper with those bold numbers resembling the facade of an oldschool alarm clock. Yum!!! Crisped rice embedded in a white confection with cinnamon drizzled in pink lines on the surface with that wafer full of sweetness in the center. Wow. I actually can still taste it...

In 1974 or 1975,m my friend Jay had a beautiful mom who was always nice to us. One day she offered a 10:30 Bar to each of us. It was amazing. Also it was the first and last time I ever saw or heard of it until I landed on this page. At 58, I still remember that moment. I always wondered if I was correctly remembering the name of the candy bar or not. So glad I am not crazy after all :) Also, his Dad had a GTO Judge, but I was clueless as to what a great car it was lol., but I remember the 10:30 bar!!!
