Description: very wide legged pants... wider than bell bottoms... usually a dressy pant suit. They were a throw back to the 40's style (pointer sisters). The 40's had a resurgence in the 70's

Had a pair of chocolate brown satin pallazio pants in 1977 that I wore with a cream satin tunic blouse that was tightly belted at the waist. Had a pair of very high-heeled (small platform) satin t-strap pumps that matched. This was a very dressy outfit worn to an office Christmas party at Walker Bank & Trust Company in Salt Lake City.
