Marimekko was tres chic in the late 60's and 70's and very expensive!I had a Marimekko nightgown-- was real long and narrow like a floor length t shirt in horizontal Black and white-- my mother spilled bleach on it oh I was devastated!
My mum had a bunch of tight t-shirts with very wide stripes. They were expensive and treasured items of clothing.
