WOW i didnt know people wore sparrys back then.... they are still in.. they are the most popular shoes....wow we still have the 70s with us!!!
I wore them back then and loved them, but mine weren't made of rubber. Only the waves were rubber, and the upper was leather...
Wore these shoes in the late '70's & '80's, in the military,,,,,,, very comfortable and glad they still exits today,,,,,,, but pricey $$$....
found 4 pairs at a sale and could not pass it up.

I just discovered they were still in business! I bought them back in the late seventies when I was in Brattleboro in the food service industry - what a great shoe!
Back in the 70's these were the only shoes my doctor would allow me to wear! I' glad to see they are still in business, but a bit pricey!
Bac in school I dated a girl and we had the same size feet, I got to wear her several times, they were great! Most comfortable shoes ever.
I had some strappy multicolor sandals. The sole was the wavy rubber & the uppers were leather.
Still have 3 pairs. All black straps. 2 pair are 4 wave, one is 3 wave. Some of the most comfortable shoes on the planet.
